(Some players were not added to this poll because they will most likely be released anyways, i.e. Kendrell Bell, etc.)

  1. Adam says:

I’ll take Law for half price over Surtain and his $9-10 mil any day of the week, but maybe I’m the only one?

  2. CWebb says:

I’ll go other because I think all should go. However, my poster child for leaving is gonna be Eddie Drummond. It’s this faith in a guy with no talent that makes me most upset.

  3. Adam says:

I will definitely go off on that this week, Webby. Him being on the roster yesterday was cheap and idiotic, and Chiefs fans have the right to be furious. If they don’t like Sippio — who hasn’t really gotten a fair shot, by the way — fine. But why not pick up a young free agent WR or return specialist and see what they can do? Drummond sucks.

  4. Pete says:

I’m with you on Law over Surtain. We can’t drop them both..we just can’t, and the price tag should really be the deciding factor; especially in this offseason.                                                                                                      Do you guys really want Solari fired? Don’t forget that with him at the helm our offensive line was one of the best in the league. Certainly it wasn’t all him, but I think he had enough of an influence that I’d love to see him back as O-line coach.

  5. Adam says:

Sure, Solari can come back as O-line coach, but will he accept that demotion? I think the way to fix the offense is to bring in someone is exactly the opposite of Herm. Who could play Tom Moore to Herm’s Tony Dungy? Maybe Mike Martz, is he is sent packing.

  6. Zach says:

C-Webb, I would consider Drummond one of those automatics (Kendrell Bell List). The guy could almost be blammed for two losses this season and one of the worst return teams in the "L".

  7. Zach says:

We have 6 votes for Others. What other big name players do you guys want to see cut?

  8. bannyc9 says:

Herm and Rod Merinelli are good friends.  If Rod doesn’t want Mike Martz, Herm surely will not take him.  I think Solari would come back as O Line coach.  I would love to see a young up and coming coach like what Dallas did with Garrett.

  9. bannyc9 says:

Oh were to start, Jason Dunn is way past his prime.  Drummond, Weigman, Terry, Webb, Surtain, Reed, Wesley, and Bell can all go.  Maybe even throw in Welborn and Turley.  Remember we have 10 draft picks this year.  A crappy rookie can play as well as these guys did this year.

  10. Zach says:

I love what Garrett has done for the Cowboys, but he also has great players to work with. I like your idea about a young upcoming coach. I don’t agree with Adam on Mike Martz. I think he is too much of an ego-maniac and can try to undermind a head coach.

I am amazed how bad our OL is when we have an OC that was a former OL coach. I know he has lost time working with the unit, but I think that is a weak excuse. I am not sure I want Solari back after this season.

He was the one that helped pick this group out. So the excuse that we lost Shields and Roaf is not working for me. We had to know that Roaf could retire. Also Shields talked about retirement for almost three seasons. I was surprised that he even played last season.

Solari and Co. thought they could make Svitek a player, that Welborn (steroids) and Turley (injuries) would rebound their careers, and that they could resurect Chris Terry. Obviously none of those worked and I would love to see at least three of those players gone next season, which Terry already got his pink slip. Why not make it all 4? He had to say that he could make an offensive line out of those players in meetings, that is his job right? He has failed as an OC and has done a horrible job rebuilding/developing this OL. I think its time for a change.

  11. I say all on that list.

  12. Steven says:

On who should be released, I would go with all of them.  I still would love to hear from Jason Whitlock as to why signing Ty Law hasn’t allowed the Chiefs to win the Super Bowl like he said it would. I think Herm, and his staff, should be given another season, it’s only been two years.  Carl and the other executives however, I’m not so sure the Chiefs wouldn’t be better off cleaning house up stairs where they roam.  Bring in a new GM, if Herm does well and seems to show he knows what he’s doing, if not, then the new GM can hire his guy.

  13. CWebb says:

    Release Jason Whitlock.

  14. D Thomas says:

I think we should dump Pat Surtain and put Ty Law on the no. 2 reciever. There’s also some talk about letting Jared Allen go, which is a huge mistake.  Drummond has to go, and K. Bell has done pretty much nothing as long as he’s been here.

  15. Zach says:

We wont let Jared just walk, trust me. He is going to be franchised if anything.

  16. carl isnt that stupid he’s to much of a dyamic player either well franchise him or give him a HUGE deal
