I am already sick of the Jet connection. This would be the blunder of the century. Carl, lock in your left offensive tackle with your #1(AT THE VERY LEAST!!!!!). If nothing else, hold on to that pick for others who may want to move up on draft day, swap spots and get their number 1 next year!!!! You and Herm been talking youth all all year. Now this??? Please tell me you have a better strategy ala game plan than this???

Pennington is going to most likely be released so this won’t happen. Also if we traded for Coles we wouldn’t give up more than a 2nd or 3rd.

this would be the worst move in franchise history since hiring herm edwards. we have the front office just dumb enough to do something this stupid. worst ran organization in nfl, an owner that does not care, a gm that thinks he is the owner and a coach that thinks he is god. go ahead and trade all your picks because you wont do anything good with them anyways.

Bo Vandy, you are far off. I’m not sure if either are an upgrade from what we have now. If there is even a chance at getting another Willie Roaf/Orlando Pace type player, you don’t pass that up. Honestly, we are probably getting worked up over nothing. No way this deal goes through.

A 31 yr old back up QB and a 29 yr old #2 WR for a top 5 first round pick? Not even King Carl is that stupid. For a team that is trying to get younger why waste a high draft pick on two thirty somethings? Not gonna happen… Cant happen…Please Lord dont let this happen.

Well, I appear to be the only one who likes this move. You acquire two starters at positions that desperately need an upgrade.Pennington may not have a gun, but he’s shown he can lead decent teams to victory. Instead of drafting a guy who will go through growing pains, and let’s face it, 1st round O-line picks have been extremely hit or miss over the last decade or so, you’ve got a real foundation laid.KC’s a QB away from competing for the AFC West title if nothing else

No way this happens, are 1st round pick will easily be top ten, if not top 5. Just off of the point system it would take a top tier player not two that are most likely backups.
