No matter what anybody thinks of late, great original Kansas City Chiefs owner Lamar Hunt, there’s no denying that without him there would be no Kansas City Chiefs. There would also be no AFC and no Super Bowl.
Since it’s been a year since his passing, we ask you to take a moment of silence and remember the founder of the Chiefs…

I’ll get this rolling by saying that we’ll never, ever see another Lamar Hunt in pro sports. You were truly one of a kind. You are still missed, and always will be. I loved seeing him walk the sidelines — like the owners who really care and "get it" do — and ditto with your son. May your legacy live on through him.
