Earlier this week, I predicted the Chiefs‘ future through Led Zeppelin tunes. You left so many good ones of your own within the comments that we couldn’t resist. Here they are…
“Communication Breakdown” (Chris Webb) – To whichever genius at K.C. headquarters decided it’d be better to let Larry Johnson stay on the active roster and not play again this season (write it down – we’ll see 27 again in August) rather than just move on over to the I.R. (which stands for Injection for a Roc-boy).
“Heartbreaker” (Chris Webb) – For the type of season we’ve had to suffer through. Dammit, Chiefs, I hate you; yet, try as I might, “I can’t quit you baby,” no matter how bad it gets.
“Going to California” (Greg Wilson) – Herm Edwards needs to go there, or someplace, anyplace but Kansas City. He is a horrible excuse for a head coach. Maybe a nice guy, good coordinator, certainly a crappy head coach. He is condescending, insulting and arrogant to the fans, and his philosophies are about 30 years outdated. Please put us out of our misery and send Herm packing!
“The Song Remains The Same” (Greg Wilson) – Nothing will change if Herm stays!
“No Quarter(back)” (Andy) – Brodie Croyle sees more sacks than a Zeppelin groupie.
“Nobody’s Fault But Mine” (James Milsap) – King Carl should be strapped to his throne with cans surgically attached, forcing him to listen to this ad nauseum until he “gets it.”
“Achilles Last Stand” (James Milsap) – In homage to the Priest, “the mighty arms of Atlas, hold the heavens from the Earth…”
“When The Levee Breaks” (James Milsap) – For the all but unprecedented depths this year’s squad has sunk to, “it’s got what it takes to make a mountain man leave his home…”
“The Lemon Song” (James Milsap) – For anyone in the organization responsible for not recognizing the need to rebuild a once fabulous offensive line prior to it decaying back to 1977 form, “watch the… run down my leg…”
“Over the Hills and Far Away” (Jacob) – Seems to be where the magical land of the Super Bowl resides… and King Carl moves us farther away each year.
Thanks! Keep leaving your own songs in the comments, as we will keep adding them to the list…

not the correct post, but … Mr. Bernard Berrian… would be the perfect fit for the chiefs…and he is available, as a free agent

POSTED 7:10 a.m. EST; UPDATED 7:33 a.m. EST, December 14, 2007UCLA EYEING NFL COACH?At a time when Arkansas pilfered Bobby Petrino from the Falcons and Michigan tried to lure Sean Payton from the Saints, UCLA could be looking to add an NFL name to take over a program that has lingered in the long L.A. shadow created by USC.According to Adam Schefter of NFL Network, UCLA decision-makers have "debated the merits" of two currents NFL head coaches: Lane Kiffin of the Raiders and Herm Edwards of the Chiefs.Others linked to the job include former Lions and 49ers coach Steve Mariucci, and Titans offensive coordinator Norm Chow.profootballtalk.com
i dont think its herm that needs to go i think its the GM, herm can only do so much with what he has and Carl Peterson aint giving him much to win with.
