The team called a 12:30 p.m. news conference Wednesday amid signs the 34-year-old running back would announce his retirement, according to Jay Glazer of Fox Sports.
The speculation is now official. Kansas City running back Priest Holmes will officially announce his retirement at a 12:30 p.m. CT press conference.
Holmes met with a specialist Tuesday, then made the decision to call it a career — again — at the urging of his teammates and those close to him.
