Big 12 LogoI figured I would start an open thread and update scores for everyone. Alright, I am bored out of my mind because my girlfriend has my car (our other car’s engine blew up). So enjoy, leave a comment, and have a good Saturday.

Funny, with the white and black WR comment. That leads me to an issue I've always had -- How come people are compared to other people based on race? I always heard stuff life  "Yeah, Vince Young, like a young Randall Cunningham or Michael Vick" or "Big Ben is a Brett Favre in the making." Granted, they're not the same style of player, but why isn't a white player often compared to a similar black paper or vice versa? This is especially prevalent when you watch basketball on ESPN and you see a white point guard that they always compare to Steve Nash or John Stockton, but never to a black PG that they might be more similar to. Any ideas?

Well good news for KU fans, it looks like Ressing won't have to play much and can rest that ankle for next weeks big showdown.

Doesn't really matter, I would just like to see him suceed at the next level

What black WR could you even compare him to other than like an Az Hakim oer Bobby Engram? I think he'll be a lot like Wes Welker, honestly. He'll probably play in the slot and return kicks. Shaun McDonald is another good non-white comparison.

I am glad Jordy got that TD, even if it is meaningless. He deserves it! What do people think of him as a pro player (besides the white WR comparison) ?

Well Mizzou handled its part of the deal. KU looks like they will as they jump out to an early 7-0 lead.

Argh... what happened to K-State's powerhouse defense?

K-State is not getting it done in the red-zone...

Jeremy Maclin is flat out sick. Great player for the Tigers and he is only a Frosh! I am sure they are glad they stole him from Oklahoma.
