He's not saying he didn't block because he didn't like the play that was called, he's saying he didn't like the play that was called but it still would have worked if he'd blocked his guy. Tony would never whiff on a block because he doesn't like the play... maybe he wouldn't run his route with 100% effort, but no way he's going to let someone take a shot at a teammate.More than that, though, if Tony would do something like that, he surely wouldn't admit it.
