“If I’m going to go out there and score a touchdown to break the record, I’m going to make sure that’s it’s in a game we win and it counts and everything’s going in the right direction,” Gonzalez said. “I didn’t want it to be a garbage touchdown.”
“I didn’t know I could get up like that,” he said. “It’s been a while since I dunked the ball. The last couple of touchdowns I’ve scored I haven’t dunked because I’ve been tired, I guess. Plus the record means you’ve been playing a long time, so you’re getting old.”
“I was like, ‘I’m not letting this one get away.’ It’s something I’ve waited a long time for,” he said. “I just wanted to get it over with.”

I tell you what, Gonzalez is the best tight end to ever play the game. Congrats to a well deserved accomplishmnet. Hope he retires as a Chief!
No doubt about it!
