ESPN’s gang picks…

Bengal Thug (Chad Crowe)

All of these ESPN experts except two — Mark Schlereth, an ex-Donk who hasn’t picked yet, but will pick against us; and Seth Wickersham, who went to the University of Missouri and is likely a Chiefs fan — have picked the Cincinnati Bengals over our Kansas City Chiefs. Maybe they are no longer giving us the Arrowhead nod after last week’s putrid showing. Still, Arrowhead is our house. Are we going to let the thugged-out Cincinnati Bengals come into our house and beat us two years in a row? For all we know a healthy Trent Green would still be our quarterback if it wasn’t for Marvin Lewis’ pack of punks.

If we can’t get pumped up for this one — especially after getting smacked in the mouth by the Jags and dissed by the national media — we might as well just pack things up and call it a year.
