I Wish I Had a Brain

Now that we believe that Trent Green is OK, I suppose we can laugh at this image from the crew over at Pro Football Weekly. By the way, everybody is mad at Travis Johnson, but that was a cheapshot from Green. As a former defensive player who had multiple knee surgeries, I know how it is to have offensive players come after your knees. Even Chris Collinsworth, Mike Golic and Tiki Barber felt Green’s block was cheap.

Besides being cheap, the block was just dumb. A quarterback who’s suffered head trauma like that doesn’t need to sacrifice himself on a broken play for an 0-4 team. It just wasn’t a bright move on Green’s part.
