Chiefs Fix: Preparing for the Jacksonville Jagoffs… Whoops
That Polack (chill, I have Polish in me) Joe Posnanski has a rather annoying new column out about Larry Johnson. Hey, Joe, the diapers thing is so four years ago. Also, when running backs don’t play in the preseason they tend to tiptoe around for a few games. Just look at L.T. and Steven Jackson if you need more proof. Besides, our run blocking has been abysmal thus far. - The K.C. Star
I’m going to go off-topic here and give some pub to my new column over at Epic Carnival — The Main Attraction. This week the topic is Friday Night Lights, a show that I consider to be at least among the best on TV. Do yourself a favor and check out the post and then the show (tonight at 8 PM CST on NBC). If you like shows like Entourage and The Wire, you’ll definitely dig it. - Epic Carnival
Since when did Kris Wilson become mister endorsement himself? - Arrowhead Pride
The HoG crew looks back at last weekend’s glory from San Diego T.J. North. - House of Georges
And then there is Pat Kirwan over at CBS. We know, Pat, math is hard. At least he picks us. I still can’t believe the oddsmakers have us as a dog. I’m tempted to load up. - YouTube/CBS Game Preview (those bastards disabled embedding!)

October 5th, 2007 at 10:38 amJacksonville (-2) at Kansas City - At wideout for the Chiefs, No. 82, Dwayne Bowe, and tell me you don't want to sing out: "Somewhere, over the Dwayne Bowe, way up high, there's a land that I heard of once in a lullaby . . ." Pick: Chiefs.

October 5th, 2007 at 7:12 pmWith all the hype about D-Bowe, LJ and Tony Gonzalez, I really look to see Eddie Kennison have a huge game. He's never been #1 receiver quality, but he IS a very good receiver. As a defense you can only cover so many guys. As long as Solari doesn't return to his old ways, I can see the Chiefs offense exploding. Now if Huard could only have JUST bad enough a game that they would put Croyle in to win it, Id be happy.
