T.J. Houshmand-paid-eh?

I’ve pretty much quit sports betting, but when I saw this line over on ESPN Hashmarks my eyes lit up:

How many receiving yards will T.J. Houshmandzadeh have in Week 4?

Over    80.5   -120

Under  80.5   -120

First off, T.J.  Houshmandzadeh leads the league in both targets and catches, and he’s up there in yards, too. Second, Bengals running back Rudi Johnson probably isn’t going to play Monday night. Unheralded back Kenny Watson will likely take his place. Third, the Bungles play the New England Patriots — the No. 1 offense in the league. The Bengals will have to throw all night long, and Housh will see a lot of balls opposite Chad Johnson.

I haven’t even looked to see if this bet is still available over at BoDog or anywhere else online — and probably shouldn’t — but if I had to take a bet this weekend it would be this one. Not that we advocate gambling.

            BallHype: hype it up!

  1. 1. Adam Says:

This bet covered by 19.5 yards. I knew it would, but didn't take it. Hopefully, somebody else did. And remember, I'm now 1-0 on posted bets for the year.
