Jared Allen made a big difference on the Kansas City front, with two sacks and a forced fumble. It’ll be interesting to see if the Chiefs try to sign him, personal warts and all, before he hits free agency next winter.
It’s nice to start seeing people around the league recognize just how good No. 69 truly is. On the other hand, that could make him harder to re-sign. I think Carl Peterson knows that he has to ink him. If he thinks Boomer Grigsby is popular, then he hasn’t seen anything yet. There will be a riot outside Peterson’s office if he lets him walk. If Jared keeps his nose clean all season long, then King Carl will have no excuse not to, and will kick himself for not signing him last summer on the cheap.

He better be back. I don't see any reason why he won't be. I can't blame Peterson for not resigning him this year. This was and frankly still is a risk to get another DUI.
Could always franchise, would rather not but we might have too.
