First off I would have to say that I agree with almost everything Adam is saying here. But I would suggest that a few other changes be made as well, in my nearly 22 years as a chiefs fan I have seen the new england franchise along with the tampa bay bucs and even the philly eagles all become what I have hoped and dreamed for my beloved chiefs. So here is what needs to be done in my view and for those out there Iam no hater of carl peterson, in fact I belived in him for years but he has to go number one! We have all been very patient with the king if Clark hunt cares anything for his fan base he will give him the pink slip #2 Herms gotta go he has to be held accountable for this coaching staff he has put in place on the offensive side of the ball, his remark about teams that score 30 points in a game is arena football ! That to me is where he lost this fans faith look around you chief fans most teams that win score about that on a weekly basis. If anyone who wants to argue that point all I have to say is how many super bowls did his mentor Tony dungy win till he was paired with Tom moore or look at his good buddy Lovie ? He pulling a marty with that qb of his, number 3 put mr solari back to coaching the o-line the man is one of the best I might suggest someone like Charlie Joiner to be OC the mans done a hell of a job with sub par talent. As far as gm i would like to see mr. hunt jr put someone like Kuharich in charge the man is good at evaluating talent, or maybe someone out of the new england front office w/o any video cameras or maybe the philly office. My point fans is that other the than the o-line this YEAR! the chiefs really have'nt lost because of a lack of talent, they in my view have lacked good leadership to take them there. My worst nightmare for my chiefs is those stories my father told me about this franchise in the 80's I hope someone wakes hunt jr up quick!

ok in this off. they wish to play action and run the ball why have a great QB?..... ok if people havnt given up on this season then why say they will finish with 5 wins, thats giving up...lol..... and drafting... I just knew people would cry a corner... its starting all over again... we need lineman people.... badly a tackle is a must... and a guard or center has to come into play... tackle has to be first... it has to be... they need a player who can come in and start on opening day... another lineman is the second round pick... after that watch out fans because it will be all defence the rest of the way.

shockingly, i 100% agree with just about everything you said adam. i would start croyle this week, and give him 14 games to see how good he is. if he is good enough to be a starter, then we have a good QB and we can use our 1st round pick on one of the numerous really good LTs in this upcoming draft. however, if he stinks up the joint we can draft a QB (i really want andre woodson from UK, if we do get a QB; brohm will go #1 or #2) and spend our 2nd round pick on a LT. starting in the 2nd/3rd round we can address the CB problem (again, giving page the rest of the season to show how good he is at FS. he would be a pretty darn good third safety IMO, and i also agree that law could be sick as a FS) so we can move law to FS and draft a new CB. our defense is very very good, and we have seen the D without jared allen. it will get even better, and probably win us a couple of games we should have probably lost. i saw we go 7-9, even though i am actually MORE confident now than i was before the season. reason #1 is derrick johnson...

Although Huard hasn't been the problem, I understand where you are going with this. If we are sitting at 1-3, Croyle becomes more of an option. We need to find out if he is the long term answer at QB. Until we know, I don't think we can put QB at the top of our draft wish list. Right now, I have 3 OL picks and 1 or 2 CB picks in mind. I think we need to look at bringing in 2 new OT's with first day draft pics. If Svitek emerges, that will cut that down to 1. I also think we need to consider drafting a center. Casey considered retirement this past off season. Plus, I don't see him as a good fit for what Herm wants. Casey is a fine agile center, but LJ needs more of a drive blocker ala Tim Grunard. Plus, oversided DT's are getting more and more popular. Casey was great for Priest, not so much for LJ. Two new CB picks should be a priority. Surtain and Law don't have many years left at CB. I am not sure if Sapp is starter material.
