Halftime Heroes & Zeros

Heroes:

Chiefs OLB Derrick Johnson - Has been the one bright spot on the defense. Two sacks and he’s been roaming the field like an animal. Well, besides the one time “the other” Adrian Peterson juked him.

Chiefs WR Dwayne Bowe - Made an unbelievable catch and is starting to show why we chose him in the first round.

Chiefs TE Tony Gonzalez - He makes this list every week and shows why he is the GOAT of TEs.

Zeros:

Panty OC Mike Solari - Finally! On our scoring drive he actually took some chances downfield. If this guy goes back to his old ways in the second half I might start a petition for his firing.

Panty SS Benard Pollard - The second week in a row a touchdown has happened where he should have been. I like his intensity and he’s one of AA’s favorites, but needs to be playing better.

Panty Special Teams - A punt returned for a touchdown and a kickoff out of bounds will not get the job done against the Bears. We have to be flawless special teams wise to be able to win against a team like this.

There’s still a lot of time left in this game, but we have dug ourselves a bit of hole with penalties, turnovers and poor decisions. Hopefully, we will have a better second half.

I know alot of people would claim this, but in all seriousness i think i could coach the chiefs team and be more successful than the current coaching staff. In no way could i be a better technique coach or positional coach as i have very little experience but i think if given the chance i could atleast get the chiefs some more respect in the NFL. I give my word that under my direction the chiefs would never blow a game like they did against the bears. So if any of the Lamars read this or any other really wealthy tycoons looking for a way of bettering their beloved chiefs, please feel free to contact me.

So, we were 3rd and 1 on the Chicago 16 yard line.  We throw the ball for a touchdown and it gets intercepted.  What the hell happened to running offense tough defense Herm Edwards?  We can't pick up a single yard?  The bears weren't stacked up against the run.  I'm pissed.

Herm Edwards deserves a ZERO as well.  He once again fielded a substandard product.  Mike Solari's playcalling is heavily influenced by Herm's overall "Prevent Offense" strategy. It's time that Herm must go.  No more "it's only the second week of the season b.s.".  At best we start this season 1-3, and 2-7.

Special Teams and penalities is what cost us this game. Our offense isn't going to be electrfying with this unit but if we don't make stupid mistakes then this game could have been won.

calm down people dont act like you thought this O-line would work… nobody knew….. not until Big Mac got in there… he is doing an ok job not great but ok… as for running the ball do you want LJ killed or would you rather see huard die on the field…really thats the two options we have… now thats  the easy part !!! ****** the hard part is getting everyone to understand the chiefs have brought us two very nice first round draft picks… but no O-lineman… games are won there. And dont tell me tony may not have played here as well as in indy , thats bull talk from people, who dont wish to acknowledge, we should have taken tony instead of bowe… look back at the chiefs of the seventies… thats where we are headed people… I have said it before and I will again this team goes as far as the O_LINE takes them… and we can see how far that is now…hahahahahahaha  :) , Solari cant decide what to call, or when… and running anyone other than LJ four times in a row is stupid, unless it is tomlinson.
