Here it is — Herm Edwards’ nearly famous post-game rant that aired on the last Hard Knocks episode. Even The Sports Guy had to sound off on this one…
After watching a month of “Hard Knocks” episodes, what scared you more — the Brodie Croyle/Damon Huard combo at QB, or Herm Edwards being Herm Edwards? Did anyone else watch Herm and think, “Wow, I’m glad we finally know what it would have been like if Cameron Diaz’s dad in “There’s Something About Mary” became an NFL coach”? His “I did a terrible job preparing the team this week … I DID A TERRIBLE JOB!” speech in Episode 4 rivaled some of Denny Green’s finest work.

September 4th, 2007 at 5:32 amSo I found a link tho this on thejetsblog.com and laughed a whole heck of a lot. As a long time Jet fan, I hated Herm Edwards. Yeah we made the playoffs, but each time (except for one) I felt like we backed into them, got lucky and shouldn't have been there.Good luck KC fans. I know you are long suffering too. You probably only have a few seasons of Herm left before management wises up and hits the bat-eject button on his sorry butt. I thought that the Jets should have given KC a pick to take Edwards. You guys did us a favor.
