Derrick Ross Also Gets His Pink Slip

One thing is for certain — this Holiday weekend hasn’t been much of a Holiday for Chiefs axeman Ray Farmer. Add running back Derrick Ross to the list of cut victims. With our RB depth and his fumbling problems, he just wasn’t worth a roster spot. Maybe the Chiefs will be able to hide him on the practice squad, but given his success over in Europe I doubt it. Some team desperate for a running back — like Detroit, Green Bay or Tennessee — will surely scoop him up.

All of this has to make you wonder who’s next. Boomer Grigsby? Tyron Brackenridge? Dimitri Patterson? Michael Allan? Hopefully, it will be someone like Chad Williams or Samie Parker instead, but don’t hold your breath, especially for Parker’s termination. Stay tuned.
