I have said it from the start we will go as far as this O-LINE allows us to....period... yes we needed a wideout and yes we still need a corner or even two...but without a O-LINE, none of our stars will be able to shine... and we will here what I have started to hear already ...and that is....* where are our points going to come from, and whos gonna score...well people this game is won in the trenches... and it may have just been breached this year...and the watter may have begun pouring over the levy last year when roaf retired... two years now when everyone on earth new we lost a couple of HOFers', and we didnt draft one in the top three rounds...to me carl should have been axed for just that!

patterson is my MVP. i had yet to hear about him from training camp reports, but he played his ass off and really impressed me. kershaw played great, phinisee played poorly on defense but had 2 good returns and one tremendous kickoff return. svitek didnt look too bad IMO. terry played much much much much much worse on the right side.

MY game MVP was William Kershaw. So my girlfriend and I are sitting at Chilli's, watching the game, and I'd just explained to her that the best players typically sit as the game progresses (so they can work in the young'uns). This is her first Chiefs game, but she still quipped up "Hey... why is #52 still in then?" There was a period of about 10 plays in a row where The Senator (anyone else think the guy's name sound like he should be running for office?) was in the frame during the tackle, if not the one with it (or with the pressure, etc). I'm falling in love......and things aren't looking so bad with the girl, either.-cw
