Brady and Brodie: A Tale of Two Younglings

The Kansas City Chiefs. The Cleveland Browns. Two teams with two of the best fan bases in the galaxy. Two teams that can’t come within an Imperial Star Destroyer of the Super Bowl. Two teams that finally have the prophesied one who will restore order in the force and bring home a Super Bowl trophy. Well, probably not, but we’re Star Wars fans, and sometimes it’s just a whole lotta fun to live in “a galaxy far, far away” as a Chiefs fan.

One of these two youngling QBs will play tonight (Brodie Croyle), while the other will not (Brady Quinn). Here’s hoping that Yoda (Herm) apprentice Brodie turns into a Han Solo gunslinger (hey, he has the haircut already), and Jabba (Romeo Crennel) apprentice Brady turns into a Princess Leia clone. After all, wouldn’t Brady look purdy with those buns? Carrie Fisher, Natalie Portman, Brady Quinn — he fits.

Only time will tell what the future holds for these two, but hopefully Brodie starts hooking up with his Chewbacca (Tony G, baby) early and often tonight. Go Chiefs!!
