Brian Fantana is Narrating Hard Knocks

Paul Rudd as Brian Fantana (photo credit: cinemablend.com)I’m in shock right now. As I mentioned previously during my live blog, Paul Rudd, aka Brian Fantana from Anchorman, is narrating Hard Knocks: Training Camp with the Kansas City Chiefs. We TiVo’d it, and watched the credits twice just to make sure — it’s definitely him. The guy is a die-hard Chiefs fan who went to KU and is originally from the area, so it’s pretty cool that he was given the opportunity by HBO and NFL Films to do the show. On the other hand, NFL Films has often used actors to do voiceover work (Alec Baldwin, Martin Sheen, etc…), so this isn’t all that uncommon. Anyway, a little bit of Sex Panther is only going to make this show that much better!

For more on Rudd the Chiefs fan, check out this old post.

Please understand that when your first post about this came out, I moved "Anchorman" from the need-to-buy list to the ok-now-it's-actually-bought list. Good stuff.-cw
