Who’s ticketed for Canton? ESPN listed its top 50 players most likely to become HOFers today. So which current Kansas City Chiefs might join Lenny the Cool and Co. in the Hall of Fame?
15. Tony GonzalezThe first notable hoopster turned pass-catcher, Gonzalez is well on his way to becoming the most prolific pass-catching tight end in NFL history. Gonzalez is only one touchdown away from tying Shannon Sharpe’s career record of 62 by a tight end. Gonzalez is likely to surpass Sharpe in receptions and receiving yards in 2008. Gonzalez already has equaled Sharpe with eight Pro Bowl appearances. In 2004, Gonzalez became the first tight end to catch more than 100 passes in a season.
35. Ty LawLaw might not be the face of the Patriots dynasty, but he has a special place in Patriots lore nonetheless. Law returned an interception 47 yards for the first touchdown of Super Bowl XXXVI and intercepted Peyton Manning three times in the 2003 AFC Championship Game. He’s the active leader in career interceptions with 50, and he also has six career postseason picks — five against Manning. In addition to his Super Bowl rings and reputation for delivering in big games, Law has led the league in interceptions twice and has been named to five Pro Bowls.
47. Larry Johnson
Ever since Dick Vermeil advised Johnson to “take off the diaper” in his rookie season, the former Penn State tailback hasn’t lacked motivation. He has benefited from a fine offensive line in Kansas City, racking up 3,539 yards and 37 touchdowns on the ground the past two seasons. But his average yards per carry dropped from 5.2 in 2005 to 4.3 last season after the retirement of 11-time Pro Bowl tackle Willie Roaf. Is this the beginning of a trend or just a hiccup?
While I would have liked to have at least seen Brian Waters or Donnie Edwards listed under “on the bubble” or as “odd men out”, I think ESPN did a pretty good job. Well, other than the Priest Holmes omission. Someone needs to tell the boys up in Bristol that he’s at camp.

Now I might be a little biased in my thinking, but where's Will Shields and Roaf? Roaf and Ogden are almost interchangable players in my mind….ridiculous.
This was for players still playing
