Which NFL team has the best running back stable?
Hashmark’s Matt Mosley asked this question this morning, and I automatically thought of our Kansas City Chiefs. Scouts Inc. identified the San Diego Chargers as the team with the best running backs, and listed us second. Sure, I definitely think that L.T. and Michael “Burner” Turner form the best one-two punch in football (with the Deuce-Reggie combo right up there). I think our depth was dismissed, though. Larry Johnson, Michael Bennett and even Priest Holmes were mentioned, but what about Derrick Ross and Kolby Smith? Ross was the NFL Europa Co-MVP this past season and Smith is being touted as the next Kimble Anders. Basically, if a team boasts a better foursome, I’d like to know about it.
