The COAT Chief Sixteen: Who should advance?

  • 4. Will Shields (93%, 40 Votes)

  • 13. Jerry Mays (7%, 3 Votes)

Will Shields advances to the quarterfinals of The COAT no contest. Gonzalez vs. Shields will be a match-up for the ages that will no doubt stir up heated debate. I’d start chewing on that one now if I were you, because that decision is going to be a toughie.

Until then, let’s get this Priest Holmes vs. Dante Hall mismatch over with.

Will… hands down… priest is about to take a cake walk to the endzone ….. a great guy on the field of play… someone who did his job and handed the ball to the ref after a TD… over and over again , no diamond sign(vagina sign), no hey look at me …(quiet I know he wanted money too…lol) but as for dante to me we could have given him up two years ago…

    agreed

He did do a celebration going into the endzone quite often. Let's not totally forget about that.

  4. 4. Zach Says:

Which is more shocking, Priest having clost to 20 votes already or Dante actually getting a few votes against Priest?

  5. 5. Adam Says:

I don't know — back in 2003-04, Dante, not Priest, was my favorite Chief. I voted for Priest, but he never was my favorite Chief. In fact, I've ALWAYS been a big L.J. backer. Zach knows this. I knew he would be the better back for our system with our aging line (plus, I knew Vermeil was done).

  6. 6. Zach Says:

Wow, Adam admitting to Priest not being his favorite Chief, :) and saying he likes LJ

    *NEWSFLASH*

I thought it was groundbreaking journalism at its finest. (I am patting myself on my back)

I never knew that… :) LJ may become a great player, he may trip over a step leaving the field and break an ankle…he would probably be more widely liked with a better pr guy… and as for priest, he didnt celebrate that often… lj will even flash his vigina for a first down…to me thats isnt a responce to a play but self promotion… that wasted energy…lol , and he only got four touchdowns against atlanta because they let preist sit out the rest of the game, if they had left holmes in what a record that would have been… six, seven, and maybe even all eight touchdowns…hmmmmmmmmmmm  :)

Didn't Blaylock get the other four TD's against Atlanta?    I was actually at the last game when San Diego rattled his head, sad day in my life.  Oh yeah I voted for priest as well.

Yah I got to see Trent get laid out and I am glad I didnt have to see Priest get murdered by Merriman. I will always hate that guy.
