Sometimes we forget that there are still nice guys such as Jeff Webb in the NFL. Webb was recently the keynote speaker for the Jr. All-American Football League (formerly Pop Warner) kickoff in his hometown of Palm Springs, CA last weekend. I’m not sold on Webb as a return specialist, but I like him as a receiver and a person, so I hope he makes the Chiefs opening day roster and sees some burn. In fact, I expect him to both make the team and contribute in ‘07.

ECK is better…. if they dont use him they are blind… we have a rookie QB, ECK would be a great addition on the strong side with tony g. , he makes a great endzone reciever…To me ECK is better suited than Bowe at5 this point. honestly bowe is good but ECK is showing him up in camp.
I guarantee that Bowe has a better year than Eck. I like Eck a whole lot, but that's the Tiger in you talking. My Dad's a Tiger, so I know how you all get.

Well for me, anytime a Bronco, Charger, or Raider gets suspended or injured I get a warm fuzzy feeling insided.
warm and fuzzy …huh??? lol, … And Bowe may have a better year but only because of the same reason we here on LJ,… where he was drafted…lol ECK is bigger, dives and catches the ball, and doesnt mind getting hit…besides Croyle likes him…:)
One thing about Eck is he is sort of slow. I hope that he can become something and would be nice compliment to Tony G and some of the other WRs, if he continues to develop.
Anyone heard of any news on Sammy Parker? I know most of us don't care but it seems no one has even mentioned his name this off-season. I kind of hope he ends up getting cut…

i think its pretty clear that parker won't even make the roster 1st string. has to be kennison at this point2nd string. bowe. cause of his strengh over the middle3rd string. Eck. cause hes a big time receiver but doesnt have required attributes for possession receiver. 4th string. Webb. Good receiver plus will be returning kick offs5th string. Why and when would the chiefs use 5 recievers. bye bye parker

hey people…snap your fingers… ok thats the difference in speed between Bowe and Mr. Eck……You see if Eck goes eighteen yards to bowes twenty…Eck is taller, and jumps higher… in the endzone which do you want??? And yes Bowe will cross the middle, but Eck will too. Watch the way Croyle and Eck are on the field,… they simply click.
ok, how bout this then. bowe as Z receiver. hes runs the screens, slants and cross routes. and eck as X. He can be our deep threat reciever as well as spreading the feild. i havent seen them playing together but lets get Croyles arm in cannon mode and bomb some deep to Eck and the other speed receivers. Kennison only really runs sidelines these days so lets put him in as a slot guy.
thats probably where Eck will be… and no way with Bowes paycheck do they stick him anywhere but the outside. this years offense will be better, as long as the O-line does its job. ( and I have heard rumors that Kennison may not be the starting number one), after simplifying the Off. we have some other guys just a good deep.
