Adam:I hear what you are saying about LJ. However, on pace does not mean is. How good did John Brockington look for 2 years? Redbeard:I am basically with you. I see Dawson versus Will or Tony ( my money is on Tony) on one side and Priest versus DT on the other. You are very correct, Buck vs DT should be very close based on their performance. However, I think DT will win in a walk due to the age factor.

We cant vote as to what we think a player may do in the future…. that would be silly… and Age has alott to do with , how people vote……. Nothing against people younger or older for that matter, but even *Big Chief says he votes for players he has seen play. So yes age has a part in the voting here. But enough of my madness…lol, have fun and VOTE allready yet…lol

I like Jack… And I see things breaking down…to a final four of Dawson vs. Shields on the left side of the bracket…………………………….. and on the right side I see a cunfusing or rather more close vote with a couple early votes deciding who the final two are to be…….Preist has what may be the fans behind him to overtake Willie Lanier and even LJ………….. And in the bottom of the right side bracket…DT and either Buck or Emmitt will be more an age vote I think….so I can see Dawson, Shields, Priest, and one of three others, Buck , Emmitt, or DT as the fourth person. I would have liked to see Dawson and Shield on opposite sides of this bracket as they,(one of them) should take …*The COAT*

I agree somewhat about the Lanier-Johnson match-up, but here's a different POV — Larry Johnson is on pace to be the greatest Chief ever when his career is all said and done. It's easy to say Willie should win in a walk, but L.J. has been downright scary thus far. He's probably started off his career better than any Chiefs player ever has. There definitely is an arguement that he has.

I think Willie will, and should, win. But we could come back three or four years from now and do this again and L.J. could very well win the whole thing. I think people have projected a little when it comes to L.J. — it's hard not to given his early success.

well, I couldn't help but tease about the name. The bracket I am curious about is Willie Lanier versus Larry Johnson. It will be a good test of the ageism process. Willie should win in a walk, but so many people never saw him play.

On that note, Adam. I don't think Jack Stenerud stands much of a chance against Len Dawson. I hear his brother, Jan Stenerud was a pretty good kicker in his day. He might get a few votes.

I was thinking the same thing about Roaf. Despite not being able to enter the Hall with a specific team, he did say he wanted to go in as a Saint.

The 8/9 and 5/12 are tough choices. I suspect I'll have to penalize Roaf for being more of a Saint than a Chief, though.
