Turley to make comeback?

Kyle TurleyGood ol’ Len Pasquarelli is reporting that ex-Kansas City Chiefs T Kyle Turley is on the comeback trail. He even visited with the Chiefs recently. If he indeed has already bulked up to 302 pounds, up from his ‘06 playing weight of 280 pounds, then I’d have no problem with us giving him another shot. Pasquarelli also mentions that Turley seems extremely motivated, so considering that he’s still only 32 don’t rule out a comeback.

How does everybody else feel about giving the big fella another go?

No problem here. I'm all for competition in the form of big bodies grappling for starting O-line jobs. My only concern would be his back. He's kinda like the Mike "DL" Sweeney of the Chiefs in that regard.

sure, why not? we have no real answer at RT, terry isnt locked in by any means, so we might as well bring him to camp and see if he truly is a better player. herm loves open competitions, there is nothing to lose by bring him to camp…

He was a monster back in the day, both for the Lambs and Ain'ts.

If his salary is under a mil, why not give him a shot? I would give him the vet minimuim.

Sure, sounds good. I mean, it wouldn't hurt. He's a beast, usually, so adding on some weight might put him at a more successful level than previous years.-cwP.S. What ever happened to the weekend Photoshop contest?

I think it's fine to give him a shot at the vet minimum. However, based on his injury history, I wouldn't keep him over a young player that shows some promise but is not as good at present.
