What happened to Adam Teicher?

Adam Teicher hasn’t written a Kansas City Chiefs article for The K.C. Star in over two weeks, and suddenly Jason King, who used to cover the Beakers, is on the job. Additionally, J. Brady McCullough is now covering the Jayhawks. Either Teicher is on vacation or he’s gone, because we didn’t even hear from him when Green finally got dealt. Couldn’t he at least of contributed something, even if he was on vacation, when the Green deal went down? Doesn’t dude own a laptop?

No real biggie, as I like what I’ve seen from King thus far better than baldy’s old stuff, but wanted to keep everybody updated. I suppose that we’ll have to just wait and see on this one.

            BallHype: hype it up!

and I wish people would stop voting for HALL….he has nothing over Jan…..Jan has won many more games for the CHIEFS PERIOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Man, I just gave Louie Aguiar his first vote. I'll vote for the punter who popped kicked returners and survived testicular cancer.

Speaking of regular writers, go to kcchiefs.com and check out Eileeen Weir's newest column. I'm certainly far from being a good writer but why the hell is what she wrote on a Chiefs site?

Like I said — I like what I've seen from King.

As for Hall, two players advance so who cares at this point. They both deserve to advance.

I'll have to check out that Weir column.

Come on RB, Hall is at least a top 5 returner of all-time. B-Mitchell, Dave Megett, Eric Metcalf and Devin Hester (after what he did last year). Hall could even be better than some of those guys. Like I have said before we love hating on Dante now but the guy was insane for 3-4 years. Returners really only have that about 3-4 year life span because people figure them out, i.e. Tamarick Vanover.

Zach:After one year, Devin Hester is in the top 5 returners of all time? How come all your top 5 are fairly recent players? No room for Billy "White Shoes" Johnson? How about Gayle Sayers? He may have been the best of all.

Devin Hester probably had the best season a returner has ever had. His special teams play carried the Bears to the Super Bowl the same way Dante Hall was on track to in '03 (until that infamous no-punt game happened). Those guys were great, though.

King is alright. But what KC needs is a legit journalist willing to ask the tough questions and challenge the Chiefs when they take the wrong steps. Posnanski and King are going to write mostly sob pieces and ultra-homeristic pieces. Whitlock will write nothing but negative. I don't like over-negativity. But the stuff I read in the Star outside of Whitlock always seems to be complete fluff.

  10. 10. redbeard Says:

fluff is good.. as for asking questions when they take the wrong steps…hmmmmm????  Does that mean its only a wrong step if YOU SAY IT IS A WRONG STEP…gezzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz, this is the kind of mentality which is so ridiculous to me…hey check out the media in New York lol they ask tough questions all the time but it doesnt make those papers a better read…oh I guess we need tabloid football journalism or else the questions aint tough enough.

I can see all of that, especially your critiques of Poz and Jabba. As for King, hmmm… let's give him some time. The Chiefs had a great offseason for the most part, and made the playoffs last year. There isn't much to criticize right now. Plus, he just got the gig, so he's not going to come out and carpet bomb the Chiefs right away.

    sarcasim folks

RB, I agree with you about White Shoes and Sayers. Just really came up with the top 5 that came off my head. You forgot about one oldie, Ollie Matson.

Seriously though Hall has to be considered one of the top returners of all time. I know Chief Fans dont like him anymore but give the man some R-E-S-P-E-C-T, but hate him now cause he is a Ram Lamb.

I used to like N. Smith too, but then he became a donkey, only difference is that we traded hall,…& Smith just became a turncoat…
