Chiefs Fix: Monday Morning Quickie
According to NFL Gridiron Grab only four teams have worse odds of wining the Super Bowl than our Kansas City Chiefs (75:1) — the Cleveland Browns, Detroit Lions, Houston Texans and Oakland Raiders. Four other teams have 75:1 odds as well, but that really doesn’t make me feel any better.
I have a new article out over on RealFootball365.com, and in this piece I make a strong prediction: For the first time since the Vietnam War Era, we’ve found ourself a true No. 1 receiver — D-Bo.
For all of you who shed a tear and poured out some liquor for Trent Green, don’t worry, he’s still getting paid. (By the way, is it just me or does The K.C. Star do an absolutely horrendous job with their photo images?)
New York Jets standout G Pete Kendall is demanding that the Jets cut or trade him. This news is a few days old, but quite relevant considering that we desperately need O-line depth and Kendall can play several positions. I hope that we’re interested if he becomes available, especially if he gets cut. That way we wouldn’t have to compensate the Jets at all.
