As expected, both D.T. and Willie Lanier will be moving on. Yes, it’s a damn shame that Bobby Bell won’t advance, but only the best and most popular Chiefs advance in The COAT. That’s just the way it goes. I might have even influenced a few fans to vote for D.T. with this post, but there’s no way I influenced 69%. Chiefs fans have spoken, and it looks like D.T. may very well be the man to beat in this tournament.
Jim Lynch was also misrepresented in this poll with only two votes, but that’s likely due to each voter only being able to vote once.
On to the The COAT DB Group:

The DB breakdown will be up sometime in the next 24. Don’t forget to leave a comment below if there is any DB you’d like added to The COAT.

As you say most popular makes this what it is, a fans' *COAT* , more than anything ,mainly because all of them are great players in their own right, sooooooooo it comes down to whom you like the best personally…..and thats why its for fun, and we have fun doing it and participating in the process.***I know I have had fun telling Adam I'm right*** (and why…lol), I am not dissapointed to much so far, with the exception of Montana, dont get me started there.
we want a breakdown…
When it comes to croners it is hard not to get a great one with the exception of only a few years here we have had great corners, some of the youngest younger readers here may not remember but Corner has always been a strong point here in KC.(blame Carl, Dick, and an ex bronco def. coach for the few years we were left without a great corner). But, all in all we have been blessed with those players.not to mention great safties of the past. This is one selection where if anyone cries they have not watched the chiefs , lol
* sorry CORNERS* my spelling today
cherry's stats are pretty sick, but i never saw him play. i had to choose between carter and hasty.
Redbeard, I also blame Lynn Stiles for many of those mistakes. He and Vermeil were terrible together player evaluation-wise.
Big Chief, remember, and this goes out to everybody, you don't have to vote for only players you saw play. I've done some research for everybody so they can make informed decisions about players who played even before they were born.
Personally, I really hope that Emmitt Thomas makes a run and advances.
I like Emmitt as well as being the name sake of the frog, but he was good and yes before most of us were born…lol, he was the Emmitt before dallas thought to draft the wanna be …hahahahaha
