Even if this "makeshift" O-line can pull it off, they are in the trenches and the chances of injury increase with new players, new schemes and new positions. With that said, how important does the play calling become to keep defenses off balance in support of the O-line? We all know defenses are going to scheme to LJ and opposing teams are going to put 8 men in the box to stop him. Frankly, I like the chances of us being a sleeper and the O-line surprising a lot of folks but I think how we approach a balanced offense and Mike Soloari's play calling is the key. But, they cant hide it if they dont mesh... Wiegman and Watters ok but even Welbourn is in a different spot...will he be able to play in the middle again, after being outside so long... and will wiegman be ok with him next to him this year...who knows we dont. We can hope though. We do have a new wideout who may be slightly ok this year and probably wont make an extra great impact until next year. You misunderstand makeshift…
