Chiefs Fix: All Things L.J.
First off, Larry Johnson’s girl — model and recording artist Julissa Bermudez, also a BET TV personality – is smokin’. Need proof that they’re an item, then check out this pic. L.J.’s smart, too; she’s young (23), hot and impressionable. At that age she’ll just cheer for him to throw up diamonds in the endzone, instead of demanding he throw one on her finger. Plus, apparently she’s friends with American Idol reject/bad girl Antonella Barba, so… I’m not even going to go there. All I’m going to say is I can’t even decide who’s hotter: L.J.’s boy’s chick or her?
Anyway, as far as I know L.J. and Julissa are together, and you can go to this blog dedicated to her to check her out.
On the not-so gossip tip, I just dropped my new weekly Kansas City Chiefs article over on RealFootball365.com. In it I take a look at what would happen should L.J. — GASP! — get hurt. It’s actually not quite as depressing as you might think, as I take a mostly positive look at RBs Derrick Ross, Kolby Smith and Michael Bennett.
I also dug up a pretty interesting L.J. video from MSN .
And apparently L.J. spent Memorial Day weekend partying in Sin City .
Actress Gabrielle Union, actor/comedian Chris Tucker, musician/producer Babyface, NFL stars Matt Leinart (Arizona Cardinals), Larry Johnson (Kansas City Chiefs) and Rex Grossman (Chicago Bears), actor Wilmer Valderrama, beauty Jenny McCarthy and actress Vera Jordanova, partying Sunday at Pure nightclub inside Caesars Palace.
Dating supermodel VJs, owning a house with Jigga, winning Pop Warner awards, painting XBOXs, chumming it up with the media, etc… life is good for L.J. right now. All he needs now is his contract extension followed by a 2007 rushing title. Hopefully, both wishes come true.

I could have sworn LJ was with another girl. I want to say it was Fantasia from American Idol but I don't think LJ would be with someone that busted.
May 30th, 2007 at 8:03 ama title is a big maybe considering he is running behind a makeshift unprooven O-line now, we'll have to wait and see.
May 30th, 2007 at 8:15 pmI don’t know if I’d call it makeshift. I like Welborn, Wiegmann, McIntosh and Waters quite a bit, and Terry has potential if he’s cleared to play. I love Shields as much as anybody, but he looked old up in Indy. Booger straight whooped him. The more and more I think about it, the less I’m worried about it. Especially since we aren’t counting on just Cruz to man the FB position this year.
May 31st, 2007 at 7:05 pmAnd as far as I know or could find anywhere, L.J. and Julissa are still together. I think Kanye West was with Fantasia. So you were close — it was someone with the Roc.
May 31st, 2007 at 7:06 pmAnd if he is with Fantasia, then my Larry Johnson jersey gets a four-game suspension. Jared isn’t the only one who should get punished for stupid decisions.
May 31st, 2007 at 7:07 pmYou misunderstand makeshift…
these guys have not played together, undressed workouts , isn’t enough to tell with an O-line……..
and I did say we will have to wait…
after the first pre-season games (give them two together) we will all know…
But, they cant hide it if they dont mesh…
Wiegman and Watters ok but even Welbourn is in a different spot…will he be able to play in the middle again, after being outside so long… and will wiegman be ok with him next to him this year…who knows we dont. We can hope though.
We do have a new wideout who may be slightly ok this year and probably wont make an extra great impact until next year.
May 31st, 2007 at 8:03 pmI agree with the time together, statement but I’m more concerned about depth. Even if this “makeshift” O-line can pull it off, they are in the trenches and the chances of injury increase with new players, new schemes and new positions. We’ll see is right but no doubt this part of the team will be highly scrutinized throughout the season. With that said, how important does the play calling become to keep defenses off balance in support of the O-line? We all know defenses are going to scheme to LJ and opposing teams are going to put 8 men in the box to stop him. Frankly, I like the chances of us being a sleeper and the O-line surprising a lot of folks but I think how we approach a balanced offense and Mike Soloari’s play calling is the key. What I don’t want to see is Tony G being kept in to block as frequently as he was last year…
June 1st, 2007 at 10:08 amthe fact they kept Tony in to block wasnt play calling, seriously …it was because of trhe lack of ability on the o-line.they needed him to help them.
