Honestly, Tony G had this group wrapped up before we even posted the poll. He’s a serious contender to take home The COAT. Even though Otis Taylor will move on as well, he probably should have gotten more votes. Stephone Paige actually surprised in this group, garnering nearly a handful of unexpected votes. Perhaps Paige’s votes were due to me mentioning his insane 309-yard receiving game. Fred Arbanas had the only other vote, and the other five players were shut out. Check out the Offensive Line Group and don’t forget to vote…
OL (breakdown coming soon):
Willie Roaf
Jim Tyrer
John Alt
Dave Hill
Will Shields
Ed Budde
Brian Waters
EJ Holub
Jack Rudnay
Tim Grunhard
Casey Wiegmann
Dave Szott
We may have to let this battle of the trenches wage on for the rest of the week. It’s going to be extremely close, so make sure to vote for your guy!

Actually Paige had better career records than the other receivers although he never went to the Superbowl game.
And he as with a couple other receivers in this group did return kicks and punts as well…(and sorry Dante they too scored TDs’ while returning them…lol)
And Paige was even a better third down receiver than our great Tony G. not that it cuts down Tony any he is great at clutch catching as well.
Taylor was a good second pick as he did get us the *RING*
Jerry Mays was a defensive end…not an O lineman. But you knew that…right?
It was late as hell when we originally made this list and during my cut and paste jobs last night it must have gotten past me. Thanks for the heads up!!!
Maybe I got him confused with Holub or something, who did play OL and defense. Fixed now!
