A die-hard Raiders fan… literally

by Chiefs

This is unbelievable…

“You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. We must be cautious.” – Obi-Wan Kenobi

Kenobi was talking about Mos Eisley spaceport, but if he were an NFL fan he probably would’ve been referring to the Oakland (now actually the “Network Associates”… sellouts) Coliseum instead.

Your Average Raiders Fan (photo credit: reuters)You can try and disagree, but this Reuters tidbit backs up my opinion pretty well…

PHOENIX (Reuters) – Arizona executed a 50-year-old man by lethal injection on Tuesday for the murder of a camper in 1987, state prison officials said.

Robert Charles Comer, convicted of the murder of Larry Pritchard, was put to death at 10 a.m. at the Arizona State Prison complex in Florence, southeast of Phoenix.

When asked if he had any last words, witnesses reported that Comer smiled and said, “Yes, Go Raiders!” in what appeared to be a reference to the Oakland, California, professional football team.

Now I’m sure that there are some decent Oakland Raiders fans out there, but there are a lot of scary ones. This is why I won’t venture into the unfriendly confines of the Coliseum, and I went to the Chiefs game at Qualcomm Stadium last year. I don’t know about you, but I don’t want to end up another tear drop on some dude’s face because I’m sporting my L.J. jersey. I’m die-hard, nobody will dispute that, but I won’t literally die for my Kansas City Chiefs. I still can’t believe this… this revelation totally supports what I’ve been saying about Raiders fans for years — a high percentage of them are scum.

Watch out for another big Star Wars-related post tomorrow. That’s all I can say about it right now, besides that you’ll laugh your ass off. Remember to vote for The COAT!

I took my mother to the last Raider game against the Chiefs at the Coliseum.  QB was Joe Montana and his last season as a Chief.  Winner of game got into the playoffs. Mom from KC comes to game decked out in Red (against my advise).  I mean she had the Jacket, sweatshirt and everything she could find with a Chiefs Logo.  After the Chiefs won the game, I couldn't believe the harrassment she got from them.  I literally had to put myself between her and some drunk who was up in her face yelling on our way out to car.  I have no doubt the Raider nation is responsible for beer sale cut off at half time. You take your life in your own hands with that fan base....Well, except for last year when humility was there best friend!!!!

i drove throught there twice last year and if i learned anything it's that those people have a perma hard-on (sorry) for karl malone and john stockton. they are mentioned on the radio at least every 5 min.

they do have a basketball team...lol

A yeam? Is that what they call football squads down there in the land of polygamy? J/K... lol!

Yeah, oakland looks super rough, i'll stay outta oakland. Does utah have a yeam?

I agree -- you're braver than I am. I'll go to Chicago, Cincy, Houston or even Denver... but Oakland is pushing it.

redbeard...you are a brave, brave man. Good Luck.
