OTAs or Trent to MIA?

AUTHOR: Adam Best | IN: Chiefs | COMMENTS: 3 Comments

Arrowhead Pride looks at the rumor that the Miami Dolphins’ plane is at the Kansas City Airport. Maybe Trent Green will indeed be in Miami tomorrow and won’t have to report when the Kansas City Chiefs kick off OTAs. It could be just a rumor, however, kinda like the Trent-to-the-Bears and Ramonce Taylor rumors. For instance, John Clayton reports in his most recent blog post that Trent is angry due to absolutely no progress being made trade-wise…

Talks have been minimal between the two teams since the draft.

“There is no progress,” said Green’s agent, Jim Steiner. “Trent is going to report to the OTA [offseason team activities]. He’s not going to forego some of the terms of his contract. He’s extremely frustrated and the frustration is turning to anger.”

So which one will it be when OTAs begin? Is Trent actually on his way to the MIA, or will he show up at our OTAs pissed tomorrow?

He will be a Chief tomorrow and it is his fault, and Nobody said your going to be traded Trent , just he could look.

And if he’s going to mentor a new kid why not ours…
for that kind of money he may as well. And hold the clip board. Yes I know thats alot of money…So what we would be paying him money either way….This way we get something for it…and if he wishes to pretend to get hurt to claim all his money anyways…what team will want him then…
even if he goes to Miami if he gets hurt we pay him all his money.

I know he wants to start well hey, I do to.
The Chiefs can afford to pay him , they afforded Simms…and a few others…

Like I have said live up to there contracts.

Carl keeping him shows he lives up to his side of a contract.

I think things could get messy in the next few days if a deal isn’t done. Call me crazy, but…

That is too bad Trent doesn’t want to compete for a starting job, isn’t it? Welcome to life in the NFL Trent! Sure was nice when you had DV here to just hand you the job every year, wasn’t it?

What threat will Trent and his agent come up with now? Why aren’t they making demands to the Dolphins? Takes two to make a trade. I am sure the lastest comment by Trent’s agent saying he will come but he is getting angry will really get to Carl. NOT! How about Trent and his agent just keep their mouths shut and not go public with every thought or demand they have.
