He allowed himself to fall to the 4th round because questions about his character. Thats why he doesn't have the contract he wants. Is that anyone else's fault besides his? NO I understand that this is different than normal jobs but I think Jared should be thankful that the Chiefs are standing by him when he COST the team/organization. He will only have 12 games to make his stats to get the contract he wants in Free Agency so we will see if he can do that. But if I was Herm Edwards and Jared constantly told everyone he was gone after this season I would probably give more snaps to Turk McBride or others to try and develop them. If Jared wants to play hardball I think the Chiefs have to play hardball right back. Why play a player that only is looking out for himself and a new contract with a different team. Like I said I hope this all can be resolved but if Jared leaves the Chiefs will still be fine with Tambi and Turk or whoever else.
