it's really a tough poll, cause younger people will be bias to guys like lj and priest, if not only for the reason that they haven't seen most of the others play. personaly, the oldest guy on that list i've watched is allen, which leaves him, richardson, anders, holmes, and johnson. not alot to choose from, but still a tough call. was tempted to say t-rich, but went holmes.

lol
no problem ....I understand people like whom they like,
just hard to believe he was this good and he doesn't have votes, the only reason I can see is he wasn't playing now.

I dont think many Chiefs dont have love for the Nightmare. It just makes me sad cause every time I hear his name I just remember Steve Atwater blowing him up. Damn Donkeys!!

just to show some the stats...
Abner Haynes had career total averages of
punt returns...10.3 yds
kick returns...25 yds
receiving ... 12.3 yds
rushing ...... 4.5yds
He may have played in a different era but tell me L.J. or Priest or even Okoye could have returned kicks and punts and still had the above averages...
I don't think any of the running backs today will end up with over 4.5 yards average per carry lifetime. And when you add to that he ran back all those kicks and punts...man it is hard to believe he doesnt have more votes!!!

I had to go with Christian Okoye, the "Nigerian Nightmare". I fell in love with the Chiefs watching him bust up the middle running people over. I hope he gets enough votes to be the second RB behind Priest.

Just be glad we are doing the Chiefs.....*COAT*
and not the Dallas...*Doat*

That would be a real bitter mixup at running back...
considering, half of their fans still wont admit that E.Smith ran behind what was almost two O-lines...lol

I am glad Marcus received a couple votes as they were not from me, I voted for Abner,...
Not because I saw him play, but more because of
the opinions of all our now, Hall of Fame Chiefs players.
All of them recall the player he was and what he brought to the table.

Okoye and Word were sick on Super Techmo Bowl. Then you got to throw bombs to Stephon Paige and rush the QB with DT. Love That Game!
