ESPN's John Clayton picks Joe Staley

by Draft

Thought this might of interest to everybody. ESPN’s John Clayton (Is it just me, or does Clayton really resemble some kind of little Gollum-like creature?) also thinks our Kansas City Chiefs will take OT Joe Staley. Here is the excerpt from the interactive alternating mock draft he did today with Len Pasquarelli…

ChiefsJoe Staley, LT, Central Michigan
John Clayton, ESPN.com senior NFL writer: After losing the left side of their offensive line with the retirements of Willie Roaf and Will Shields over the past 12 months, the Chiefs can start to restock here. Staley started college as a 230-pound tight end. He developed into the No. 3 tackle in this draft.

I understand that, but the ability to have the DT ....they , like our Chiefs have wanted...it would be tempting to go ahead and trade Hall again.
they can draft a return man easier than finding a Jenkins in the draft.

They won't. Hall could regain his form on that turf. Sometimes players just need a change of scenery.

man...I just wonder how smart St.Louis is...
If they end up trading Hall and a pick to get
JENKINS Carl should be fired!!!!!

(as the Cards are talking with the Panthers right now)

ARGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGg

I just remember that home opener against the Jets a couple seasons ago when Willie Roaf started the game completely healthy. Man, Priest Holmes and L.J. were breaking off one 20-yard run after another right off the big man's ass. That was unbelievable. When he went down so did our championship aspirations.

He was that good. And, yes, he basically has been gone for a season and a half.

And if Carl had not cussed out J. Tait when we signed him...he may have well stayed here...
and that would have saved us a draft pick...DAMNED CARL...
If they keep him as the top dog to replace Steadman,(don't draft Marino), Steadman...I give up then.

Yes Roaf made the diff. the year before last.
He was that good.

And will people stop saying we lost Roaf last year...
We didnt have him the year before...not really...
When He went down the first time our season was over.

well maybe he is drinking the same watter as gollum...
since when did Shields play on the left side...lol
unless we are loosing Watters as well.
